Hello All,

As some of you may know, The East Oakland Beautification Council has undertaken the task of combating graffiti in the Eastlake/San Antonio area head-on.  The Council has adopted a four-block radius between 10^th Avenueand 14^th Ave and East 12^th St and International Blvd which will be cleaned continuously until graffiti is permanently abated.  The idea is to clean this small area and eventually increase the radius until we have a clean neighborhood!  This effort - dubbed Operation Clean Sweep II (the first was along San Leandro Blvd in East Oakland) - will be launched this Friday, August 8, 2014 at 9am at the corner of 10^th Avenue and International Blvd. 

This is a huge effort that will need lots of support from neighbors, merchants, and friends.  Your presence at this kick-off is greatly appreciated!
