As always, the message is very clear: We want to empower our children to take charge and to be part of their community.
This year, we are very excited to have our councilman Abel Guillen provide us with soil and planter boxes. For those of you who love gardening and planting, please feel free to bring your favorite plants or flowers so we incorporate them into our planter boxes. Gardening tools, paints and clean up material will be provide onsite. Not to mention, lunch and coffee will be provided to help replenish all that amazing energy that will be expended by our wonderful volunteers.
Please come dressed and ready to get down and dirty for an amazing cause. For your convenience, we attached here our flyer for city-wide distribution. Please feel free to bring your smiles, your friends and family. Be ready to lend us a hand to beautify our Oakland community.
